Our Mastering Studio can receive media on CD, Cassette, 1/4" Reel-to-Reel stereo and 4 track plus digital tape.

Remote Recording Studio: We also have a remote recording studio that we use to record live concerts. Recording live concerts, as you probably know, is not an easy thing to do, but Thunder Studios has been recording live concerts for the past 15-years and have become experts in this field. Depending on the concert, we carry either a 24, 48 or 96 channel Alesis Digital/Analog recording system. Our setup time is approximately 30-45 minutes and the recording session is completely isolated from the house mix and does not interfer with the show at all.

The owner of Thunder & Lighting Concert Productions, Don Christopher Kassay, has 38 years of professional experience in the music industry. He designed and built his first professional recording studio in Raleigh, NC back in the early 1970's. This studio was designed and built to acccomdate the New World Art's Ensemble in the production, arranging and recording of the rock operetta "The Son of Lydia Ann Kingford" written by professional musician, singer/songwriter Steve Sullins better know throughout the music world as Sully.
