Main Studio Recording Console

This is our Mastering studio console. It is a modified Digidesign 2, 32- channel recording and mixing console. The reason I say modified is because it has Class-A line amplifiers, the chassis cabling and interconnects have been modified with special manufactured solid silver wire and the audio controls are stepped switches with gold plated contacts. It has the Digidesign TDM plug-in that is compatable with the new HD Accel PCI cards for mix bus compression to Pro Tools via a user interface and control set. It has support for multi-channel tracks up to 7.1 and sampling rates up to 192 Khz. The Impact compressor interface includes a Gain Reduction meter that replicates an analog meter with an animated bouncing needle, displaying authentic ballistics as it meters gain reduction. The Impact compressor also includes a side-chain input, allowing any Pro Tools audio track to be used as an external key. It has the ability to go from subtle smoothing of dynamics to extreme squashing compression.
